These are some of the comments from peloton’s Team Members on the call.
The virtual meeting supposed to have been about the former CEO John Foley introducing the new CEO Barry McCarthy. But the meeting went South really fast, team members was so angry. Barry McCarthy has challenges to face, with the cut of about 20% of its corporate workforce, or 2,800 jobs and a company that has fell off track fast, he doesn’t have time to relax, there is serious work to do. Meanwhile team members, that have lost their jobs are helping one another look for new jobs on social media platforms like LinkedIn. And peloton is giving the team members that has lost their jobs cash severance, career services and a monthly Peloton membership for 12 months.
